This table is being set now, and it is not yet complete

The texts presented on this site are meant to leave your hands changed. A manifesto that the founding members do not amend is not a co-founded manifesto.

What we are looking for, and in what order

Priority 1

Seasoned professionals

Experienced practitioners recognised by their peers, from different families of practice. You know what the work truly demands, and you know the borderline situations that frameworks describe poorly.

Without you, this framework will be wrong. We are not asking you to come and be recognised: we are asking you to write with us the part we know the least.

Priority 2

Researchers and learned institutions

The field is widely practised and little studied. We offer organised access to the ground, a first piece of analysis already carried out, whose limit we know, it is single-source, and the written guarantee that you will be able to publish unfavourable conclusions.

We are not looking for an endorsement. We are looking for scrutiny.

Priority 3

Unions and federations

You know the balance of power in the field, its past attempts and its dead ends. You sit on the steering committee by right, on the same footing as the other profiles.

We defend no economic interests and have no intention of taking your place: we produce references.

Priority 4

Schools and training bodies

We are not asking you to give up your framework, but to make it legible in a shared language, and to accept being looked at.

Three things to know from the outset: the Framework is freely accessible and can be adopted without joining; no label is planned before two years; and no school can hold the majority of the committee.

Why this order. Starting with the schools would make the project read as a negotiation between commercial actors, and would hide what drives it: the recognition and dignity of the work. We approach first those who practise and those who study.

What we ask of you

  • Time: four meetings a year, and reading work between sessions.
  • Candour, including when it unsettles us.
  • A public declaration of interests, updated each year.
  • Accepting that your minority positions be published, and not demanding that a disagreement be smoothed over.
  • Sitting in a personal capacity, never as a delegate of your organisation.

What we commit to

  • Amending the manifesto with you, in session, before any signature.
  • Releasing the Framework under an open licence, irreversibly.
  • Publishing everything on the transparency calendar.
  • Creating no label before two years and before the four profiles are filled.
  • Guaranteeing that no actor, the initiator included, holds the majority.
  • Publishing the first report of the external oversight, even if it goes against us.

Write to us, and say where you speak from

A short message is enough: who you are, what you do, and what makes you doubt this project. That last part interests us as much as the first two, it tells us what needs correcting before we go any further.
